ABOUT

Paty and Leo first met at a music college in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2007 while pursuing their music degrees. After over a decade of working with some of Brazil's most influential bands and artists, they reunited for a concert in 2019. This event led to the creation of their project, Duet Paty & Leo, in 2020. Now, both personally and professionally connected, they are fully dedicated to their musical journey.

Duet Paty & Leo have performed across Europe, EUA, and South America. Their versatility and engaging performances have earned them praise, invitations to prestigious events, and collaborations with renowned musicians worldwide. In 2021, despite the pandemic, they released their album Da Nossa Terra (From Our Land), featuring classic Brazilian music with fresh arrangements.

In April 2023, they had the honor of recording with drummer Danny Gottlieb (The Pat Metheny Group, Mahavishnu Orchestra). Later, in December 2023, they performed in Paris at Charisma Eglise Chrétienne. They delivered a sensational show with a band and a choir of over 40 musicians to an audience of 5,000, broadcast live worldwide. In July 2024, they toured Italy, performing at several of Europe's most renowned music festivals.

PATY FERNANDES

Paty Fernandes decided early on to become a singer. At just 16, she started college and graduated four years later with a degree in popular singing in Brazil. By 18, she won a global singing competition that took her to New York City to record a single produced and written by Wyclef Jean, alongside the singer Fergie (Black Eyed Peas).

For six years, Paty was a member of Raul Gil's band on one of Brazil's most influential TV shows, aired on SBT (Brazilian System Television), where she performed with major Brazilian and international artists, gaining national recognition.

In 2019, she released her debut single, Último Dia, marking the beginning of her career as a songwriter. Before moving to the U.S., Paty recorded a live DVD with Brazilian singer and songwriter Maurício Manieri alongside renowned artists like Jon Secada. As a vocalist she also contributed to the album O Bar Me Chama by the legendary Brazilian rock band Velhas Virgens, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2021 for Best Rock Album.

LEO TESTONI

At 17, Leo Testoni began studying popular guitar at a college in São Paulo, Brazil. His talent quickly opened doors to high-profile performances, including playing the Brazilian national anthem at WGP Kickboxing events broadcast live from São Paulo’s biggest arenas. From 2010 to 2012, he toured with the legendary rock band Casa das Máquinas and earned a place on the Brazilian Rock Walk of Fame.

Later, he joined the Broadway revival of Godspell at Teatro das Artes and, in 2018, released his debut album/DVD Arranged & Spontaneous Sessions, collaborating with Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), Faiska, Sandro Haick, and other musicians.

In 2022, Leo received a full scholarship for a master’s in guitar performance at Utah State University. After moving to the U.S., he quickly immersed himself in both education and performance. His work includes jazz ensembles like the USU Jazz Orchestra and Caine Jazz Combo, musical theater productions such as One Man, Two Guvnors and Spotlight, and appearances at major jazz festivals—including Italy’s renowned Umbria Jazz Festival.
